Special Constable ________, I Shake My Head at Your Ignorance

(Not All My Posts Will Be about the Police) This past Saturday I was involved in a charity ride called Ride for Refuge.  Ride for Refuge raises money for the displaced, vulnerable and exploited.  There were 864 people doing the ride in Waterloo. My Ride with the Police! (Take 2)

I normally ride out in the lane, on multi-lane roads, to increase … Continue reading My Ride with the Police!

Lights of Life – Meeting #2 UW Davis Center @7pm

Lights of Life is an initiative sparked by Brendan Lowther (a man of many titles who also happens to blog at WaterlooBikes every so often). This is a second meeting to explore the idea and start executing. We’re trying to get everyone at the table; cyclists, city representatives (Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge), Waterloo Cycling Club, UW Feds, Ride with Lance, bicycle shops, Region of Waterloo, Waterloo Region Police Services. 2nd Meeting – Jan 19 – UW Davis … Continue reading Lights of Life – Meeting #2 UW Davis Center @7pm
